The Almazara del Ebro S. Coop. is a local olive mill, dedicated to the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It was created in 1999 and it is operational since 2001. It is constituted as a 2nd degree cooperative (a 2nd degree cooperative comprises of 1st degree production farmer’s cooperatives), in which three other cooperatives are integrated: Bodega Coop. Cirbonera, Cintruénigo; Coop. Olivarera Queiles Valley, Cascante; and AN, S. Coop. Our olive mill is located in Cintruénigo, and its area of influence mainly the Ribera of Navarra. Since its creation, Almazara del Ebro has set two main objectives:
- To establish a service system that meets expectations of both partners and customers.
- To produce a high quality final product.
The oil produced in our mill is distributed to various business segments. A fixed percentage (approx. 20%) of our production is distributed to our cooperative partners. Over the past 5 years we have substantially increased our sales through the store network of our cooperative members, also taking advantage of the commercial synergy among the commercial departments of these cooperatives, in order to expand into the national market as well as into international markets.
